Trance Music is just one genre of the electronic dance music that started developing back in the good'old 1990s. In any case you can see that the Trance name is undoubtedly linked closely to the perceived ability or whatever of music or music tracks to induce a trance or an altered state of consciousness also known as a trance in the listeners. The effect of some of this trance music has been compared to some of the trance inducing type music that was created by a long time ago bythe ancient shamanists during very long periods of extended drumming.
