In any case you can see that the Trance name is undoubtedly linked closely to the perceived ability or whatever of music or music tracks to induce a trance or an altered state of consciousness also known as a trance in the listeners. The effect of some of this trance music has been compared to some of the trance inducing type music that was created by a long time ago bythe ancient shamanists during very long periods of extended drumming.
